Hey y’all! Man, did that long weekend ever feel.. well, long! But now that I’ve been properly stuffed [ehehe] with turkey and English potatoes and brussel sprouts and English stuffing and all those goodies..
I’m going to first give a very loud hoot and holler for the movie Across the Universe. It was SUCH a delightful, artsy film! I’ve had the soundtrack on repeat since seeing it Saturday. Lovely, lovely! Everyone, see it, yesyes, it’s a wonderful hippie movie!
Enough of that. Here’s a teeny doodle to tide you over. I’ve drawn a lot of garbage just to keep myself sane amongst the projects.. er.. relatively speaking, o’course! This is a sketch of four of my characters if they were simultaneously eight years of age. It’s an experimentation of style, and it’s also late, so forgive any ickiness~

I’ll hopefully have some more serious works for you soon enough. I’ve snagged myself a life drawing tutor, and we meet tomorrow at extra life, so we’ll see how this new adventure turns out~
Love and limes,

Just a minor update, as I’ve been a busy little Phoo all weekend on schoolworks. And.. well.. these.

The rest of the army can be seen on the second page of my Sketch gallery. None of them took longer than five minutes; they were purely meant for fun. And yet, about five of them are being used by the people they portray as Facebook profile images! I’m so very amused.
I’m really diggin’ the whole Clustr Map thing. I apparently get more visitors than I’d ever guess, but alas, my comments are still rather bare. C’mon, lovelies, leave me a message, won’t you? <3

I’m sunburnt and tired of all the walking, but maaaan was today fantastic!
It was Teacher’s Appreciation Day today at the Toronto Zoo, where a teacher and one guest receive free admission. I pretty much begged my mom to take me, and therefore spent a good portion of today walking, drawing, and admiring nature’s beauties. I not only filled eleven pages of my sketchbook, I also received attention [however undesired by a self conscious gal like myself, haha] because of my sketchbook and pencil.
My fave doodles were of the grizzly and the kangaroo joeys. To my disappointment, the raccoon wasn’t awake or even visible, a sort of common theme with the poor caged animals. Ah, well. It isn’t as if coons are hard to come by, I just would have liked to draw them.
School is thus far treating me fantastically. I’m quite satisfied with my bouncing ball animation, even if it keeps pulling a disappearing act on me. I’ll be posting more when possible; my dense wireless printer refuses to scan, whereas my desktop is on the verge of dying and thus I have avoided turning it on in the first place, to salvage his life as much as is possible at this point. Anyway, what that means is that I don’t have access to a scanner, but when I can, I’ll update this thing. Promise!
Til next time, sillies!
Love and limes,
