School’s been extremely busy, especially with this film! But here is a bit of experimentation on my part: cut out style! I’ve become recently fascinated by this method of portraiture that I even tested it out on my group film’s characters (granted, they do not look the same in this style as they will in the film, but I was also colour testing, so it wasn’t a compleeeete waste of time).

I’ve also applied to a good deal of fantastic studios, and am extremely excited to hear back from them. (Hello if you’ve found your way to my blog for that reason!) My portfolio website, which is more bluntly organized than this one, can be found here:

Expect a website layout rehaul for this blog as soon as it’s humanly possible. I’m really despising this one, but I can’t find any Wordpress templates I want to modify.

Hey guys,

This is my 24 hr animation, from back in first semester of third year when Ashlyn ran Manimation Film Fest! I recently cleaned up and coloured, traditionally with ink, this. Here’s the final product. I hope it’s textural and unique.

I’ll have more for you guys soon! Including maybe a new layout! Question - should I get rid of the blog aspect and make this purely a portfolio site?  Or just simplify the organization of the website so it’s easier to navigate?

First semester of third year at Sheridan College animation is over! I can hardly believe it. We’ve worked so hard on these films, and these action analysis projects. Here is mine, in both 5 sec animation format and 30sec leica reel format. Forgive me for the loss of quality in the cleanup; it was my first attempt at such a difficult undertaking. Thanks so much to Apollo who helped me put this together!

(It seems to have clipped off the last half second, so I’ll switch out this file later for a longer one)

Happy holidays everyone! I’ll be spending it working hard on new artwork, and putting together a portfolio for internship applications. Frightening!

Love and limes,
